Terms of service

Thank you for choosing LensMagic. These Terms & Conditions set out the agreement between LensMagic ("we," "us," or "our") and you ("the client") for all photography and film services. By booking with us, you agree to the terms outlined below._​

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your session date.​

1.2 The remaining balance is due 48 hours before the scheduled session.​

1.3 Payment is accepted via bank transfer, Stripe, or other agreed-upon methods.​

1.4 No booking is confirmed until the deposit is received and a booking confirmation email is sent.​

2. Session Details

2.1 Session duration, number of images, and inclusions are defined by your chosen package.​

2.2 Add-ons such as cinematic films, extra images, and gallery upgrades must be requested in advance or during the delivery stage.​

2.3 Travel within London Zones 1–3 is included. Additional travel may incur extra charges.​

2.4 Time extensions beyond the agreed session may be charged at a rate of £75/hour, subject to availability.​

3. Client Responsibilities

3.1 The client is responsible for ensuring all session participants are aware of the shoot and agree to be photographed.​

3.2 The client must obtain permission for shooting at private venues.​

3.3 Children and pets remain the responsibility of the client throughout the session.​

4. Rescheduling and Cancellation

4.1 Sessions may be rescheduled once free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice.​

4.2 Cancellations less than 48 hours prior will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.​

4.3 In case of illness, extreme weather, or unavoidable conflict, the session will be rescheduled at no extra charge.​

4.4 If the client fails to attend without prior notice, the full session fee is non-refundable.​

5. Image & Video Delivery

5.1 Standard image delivery time is 2–3 weeks via private online gallery.​

5.2 Video editing may take up to 4 weeks.​

5.3 Image galleries remain live for 3 months unless extended for a fee.​

5.4 Additional images or full gallery upgrades are charged as per the latest pricing guide.​

6. Creative Control

6.1 LensMagic retains full artistic control over the style, composition, and editing of all images and films.​

6.2 Unedited/raw files are not available for viewing or purchase.​

6.3 Light retouching is included; extensive editing (e.g., body modification) is not included unless agreed upon.​

7. Usage Rights & Model Release

7.1 LensMagic retains the copyright to all images and video footage produced.​

7.2 Clients receive a license for personal (non-commercial) use unless otherwise specified.​

7.3 LensMagic may use selected images for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional use unless the client opts out in writing before the session.​

7.4 Clients using images for commercial branding must ensure proper credit is attributed and comply with any location/third-party requirements.​

8. Data Privacy

8.1 We process personal data in line with UK GDPR. Refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.​

9. Liability & Force Majeure

9.1 While we take every care, we are not liable for injury, loss, or damage during the session.​

9.2 In case of technical failure, theft, or unavoidable incidents that prevent us from delivering the session, liability is limited to a full refund of monies paid.​

9.3 We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, location access, or late arrivals.​

10. Gift Vouchers

10.1 Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.​

10.2 Vouchers are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash.​

10.3 Sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.​

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.​
